Learning Paths for Business

Learning paths help business users turn training goals into structured lesson-and-challenge plans. They are useful for classroom learning, team upskilling, onboarding, and candidate preparation.

Business users can use learning paths in two main ways:

  • Curate paths manually from My Learning Paths.
  • Generate paths with Career Coach, then save and assign them.

Manual Curation

Business users can create learning path drafts, add lessons, write theory, add questions, attach DojoCode challenges, choose required challenges, and publish paths when they are ready.

Use visibility to control who can find the path:

  • Private paths stay in your account.
  • Community paths appear on Explore Learning Paths after publishing.

See Learning Path Curation for the full editing and publishing workflow.

Career Coach

Trainer and Recruiter modes can help create learning paths from the Career Coach chat.

For a selected student or candidate, Career Coach can:

  • Open the student or candidate picker.
  • Read that learner's training settings and skill progress.
  • Ask how many lessons and challenges per lesson the path should contain.
  • Generate a personalized learning path in the side panel.
  • Let you save the generated path.
  • Create a draft assignment from the saved path when you ask to assign it.

For groups, Career Coach can help you assign a saved learning path to the group. If you want a path for a group, create or generate the path first, save it, then assign it to the group from Career Coach or the assignment workflow.

Student, Candidate, And Group Workflows

Use Career Coach when you want to move quickly from a training goal to an assigned path:

  • Per student or candidate: select the learner in Career Coach, generate a path based on their profile and skill progress, save it, then ask Career Coach to create the draft assignment.
  • Per group: create or generate the path once, save it, then assign that saved path to the group. This is useful when a whole class, team, or candidate cohort needs the same curriculum.
  • Mixed recipients: assign the saved path to selected students/candidates and groups in the same assignment workflow.

Assigning Learning Paths

Learning paths can be used as assignment sources. A business user can assign a learning path to:

  • One student or candidate.
  • A group.
  • A combination of selected students/candidates and groups.

Career Coach creates assignments as drafts, so you can review the title, instructions, due date, recipients, and source before publishing.

Tracking Progress

After a learning path is assigned, learners complete lessons and challenges in their own progress context. Career Coach can help business users review:

  • Skill progress for a student or candidate.
  • Assignment progress and completion status.
  • Group progress and training priorities.

This lets trainers and recruiters use learning paths both as learning content and as a way to track development over time.
